Feeding America West Michigan is a food bank that serves 40 of Michigan’s 83 counties. Its service area consists of 25 counties on the western half of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula and the entirety of the Upper Peninsula (15 counties). The food bank’s purpose is to provide food to its partners, who then directly serve their communities. Currently, Feeding America West Michigan works with more than 800 agency and Mobile Pantry partners to fulfill its mission. Each year, the food bank provides over 20.5 million meals' worth of food to our neighbors in need. That's the equivalent to feeding over 56,000 people once daily for an entire year! We believe hunger is unacceptable and that our community has the power to change lives – one meal at a time.
