Clark Construction Company is a Michigan-based commercial construction firm with deep roots in the communities we serve. With four offices across the state, Clark has spent 80 years partnering with public and private clients to plan, build, and deliver projects that matter.
We are a relationship-driven builder. Our work spans higher education, K–12, municipal and civic facilities, healthcare, corporate offices, water and wastewater infrastructure, energy, and complex renovation projects in occupied environments. Across every market, our focus is the same: listen carefully, plan thoroughly, and execute with discipline so our clients can make confident decisions.
Clark remains majority-owned by the Clark family, providing long-term stability and continuity. This structure reinforces our commitment to accountability, transparency, and steady growth built on repeat relationships rather than one-time transactions.
We invest in long-term partnerships, local trade relationships, and teams that stay engaged from preconstruction through closeout. Many of our projects come from repeat clients who value clear communication, early problem-solving, and consistent leadership over shortcuts.
How we build has evolved. Clark actively applies lean planning principles, advanced cost and schedule modeling, Building Information Modeling (BIM), and collaborative delivery approaches to reduce risk and improve outcomes. These tools support our people, they do not replace them. Respect for the work happening in the field and thoughtful coordination across all stakeholders remain central to our approach.
Safety is foundational to everything we do. At Clark, safety is not a checklist or a policy statement. It is a personal commitment to protect our people, our partners, and the communities around our jobsites. We work to create environments where everyone feels responsible for one another and empowered to speak up, because how we take care of people is inseparable from the quality of the work we deliver.
Clark Construction Company is proud to contribute to the growth and vitality of West Michigan and communities across the state, building places that serve people today and stand the test of time.
