Look across the Grand Rapids skyline and you’re unlikely to find a building that Egan hasn’t touched. Our legacy exists in the mechanical systems that we’ve installed for the region’s largest and most complicated projects. The Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital, JW Marriott, Grand Rapids Art Museum, Van Andel Institute and DeVos Convention Center, to name a few. Our work in these buildings spans decades. Or in the case of the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, a century. The hotel is comprised of a collection of historic buildings, including the Pantlind and Exhibitors Buildings, along with the iconic and more modern glass tower. Egan installed the original mechanical systems for each of these, and we continue regular renovation and restoration projects to maintain the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel’s heritage and luxury. Today, our work spans beyond Grand Rapids, with additional Michigan offices in Muskegon, Kalamazoo and St. Joseph-Benton Harbor. Our Service Department is also available in the Greater Nashville and Knoxville regions, following our partnership with Sylvan in 2025.
