Flooring America of Grand Rapids MI

We recently had to refinish all the maple wood floors in our condo . We contacted them on a Saturday and they came right out to give us an estimate, unlike another company that didn't even return our calls. They came in at a good price. The floors look wonderful. A great experience for us, I highly recommend this company.

Huge warehouse with lots of flooring options for each category: carpet, luxury vinyl, hardwood floors, tile and laminate. All of the sales staff are very knowledgeable and courteous, providing excellent customer service. Their installers are excellent t as well. Highly recommended flooring store.

I general contracted the building of my own home and decided to work with Flooring America. Pricing was competitive and selection was great. As it turns out, we ran into a significant flooring issue after the install that was not directly Flooring America's fault. Flooring America worked with us to resolve the issue to our satisfaction. Would definitely work with them again.

I got a great deal on vinyl plank at Flooring America. They had a lot of options on sale, and lots of selection in stock. Alek was the sales representative that helped me. He did a good job explaining the differences between the cheaper plank, and the high grade stuff. I ended up getting the 4 star rated wood look they had on sale. The flooring was a click lock type. I did install myself, but next time I’m hiring them to do it. Overall great experience, by far best selection of vinyl click wood and tile options.

We had some issues with the quality of the carpet and install. We emailed and called them a number of times. One of the owners came out and looked at the carpet. He said he would get back with us. I stopped at the store after not hearing anything for weeks. I talked to the other owner, he did not know anything about the issue but took our information again. No response..... Do not believe the signs that they will replace it if you are not happy. Can't even get them to call us back.... carpet is too expensive , go to a reputable store.

I worked with Alek at Flooring America. I got new carpet in living room and hardwood in dining kitchen and hallway. His installer did a good job. Took time to cut wood in garage and keep the dust to a minimum. I would use Flooring America again and recommend Alek to work with.

I am remodelling my home and prepare it for sale and purchased vinyl click tiles to be installed in kitchen and bathroom floors and carpet in the basement family room and stairs in late October 2014. It is December 29th 2014 and I am still waiting for stairnose transitions to be installed. Mis-information such as "getting it in today's delivery", ordered it and UPS or Fedex is delivering it today - responses to my phone calls in November 2014. The best response was in early December "Oh, I don't see the order for transitions being placed, so why would you be expecting the delivery?" Oh the installer is right here and will be calling you to set up a time. Meanwhile the carpet is fraying on the edge of the steps. I made the error of making payment in full as soon as the materials were brought in by the installer, how was I suposed to know that businesses such as these operate in this fashion. I am sure there are some happy customers but I am not one of them.
