Since 1979, Paws With A Cause (PAWS) has been transforming lives and strengthening communities through partnerships with custom-trained working dogs. Each PAWS dog opens a world of possibilities, empowering individuals, families, and communities.
PAWS places five types of assistance dogs including service dogs for mobility, seizure response dogs, hearing dogs, service dogs for children with autism, and medical alert detection dogs. In addition to assistance dogs, PAWS places facility dogs in schools, hospitals, counseling centers, retirement communities, nonprofits, and more. Facility dogs are trained to work with their handler and serve multiple people who may need social interaction, recovery motivation, and comfort.
To meet the growing demand for assistance and facility dogs, PAWS is always in need of volunteers, donors, and community supporters. To learn how you can get involved and support the PAWS mission, please visit: www.pawswithacause.org
