Happy Arbor Day!🌳 In honor of this ex-tree-ordinary holiday, Vicinity has donated trees to the Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education (SCEE)! We are thrilled to share that this past Wednesday, the Nature Preschool classes at SCEE took initiative and planted the trees. It is so rewarding to see the next generation learning about the importance of reforestation and environmental conservation. #ArborDay celebrates the planting, upkeep, and preservation of trees across the United States. Following the resounding success of our Urban Decarbonization Leadership Roundtable series at our Kendall facility in Cambridge, where we were privileged to host Rt Hon Chris Skidmore, former Member of Parliament, our journey pressed on to Philadelphia. Our Regional Vice President of Business Development and Accounts, Rick Smith, participated in a panel hosted by the NATO Parliamentary Assembly. Chaired by Congressman Brendan Boyle, representatives from over 18 countries came together to exchange insights and chart pathways toward a greener future. At Vicinity, we believe in the power of collaboration and knowledge-sharing to drive meaningful change. Together, we discussed challenges and opportunities for decarbonization, international economics, and supply chain security.
